This policy covers slickfast.com, the hosted API (api.slickfast.com), and
our hosted MCP (mcp.slickfast.com). The local MCP
(npx @slickfast/mcp / a checkout on your machine) renders on your device and
sends us nothing unless you call a hosted tool that needs a key (share, publish, and similar).
Your email (for keys and account); a stored API key; usage and metering data (render counts, timestamps); specs and content you ask us to host (live charts, published Pages, short-lived share URLs); and basic technical logs (IP and request metadata) for security and abuse prevention. Free-key signup on our API stores a hash of your email, not the plaintext address, in our key file. Payment details go directly to Polar — we never see or store your card.
One-shot renders that are not published or shared are processed to return an image and are not kept as a lasting hosted document.
To provide and meter the service, bill you (via Polar), prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell your data.
Polar (payments and tax), our hosting and CDN providers (to run and serve the service), and no one else except where legally required.
For Pages and many chart URLs, adding .json to the same address returns the
twin — the exact JSON recipe. Anyone with the link can fetch that twin. Do not publish
secrets, passwords, or personal data you would not share with everyone holding the URL.
When you publish a Page, we store the pagespec and the rendered HTML so we can serve the
Page URL and its twin. Free-tier Pages last up to 7 days (and may show a watermark).
Paid Pages are permanent until you delete them. You can revoke a Page you own
(DELETE with your key); after revoke, the URL answers gone and stays gone.
Live charts store the spec (and any data you push) so the URL can update. You can delete a live chart you own at any time to revoke its link.
Short-lived share URLs store the chart spec so chat and agents can display an image from a link. They expire on a short TTL (typically days). Treat them like any other unlisted link.
We keep account and key data while your account is active. Live charts expire after 90 days without updates (any data push resets the clock), after which they are deleted and their URLs stop resolving. Free Pages expire on their TTL. Paid Pages stay until you delete them. Share URLs expire on their TTL. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security.
You can request access to or deletion of your data, and you can delete live charts and Pages you own yourself. Contact us to exercise these rights. We honor GDPR- and CCPA-style requests regardless of where you are located.
The site is static and sets no tracking cookies. Checkout happens on Polar's pages under Polar's policies.
We will post updates here with a new effective date. Questions: feedback@slickfast.com
